So my big plan for this year for to do a zine for every week of the year. It seemed like a good idea when I came up with it a few month ago, but as the new year neared, I realized I didn’t want to make something for the sake of making, I was already doing that. I’d rather focus on refining my craft and becoming a better writer.
So, I decided that instead of 52 junky zines, I’m going to create one book/publication per month. I want to have enough time to think of a good theme and to be able to sketch out and plan of what I need to do, not to mention leave room for editing. I also want to go back to screen printing and letterpress because I feel like that part is missing in my life. In the end, I want to make something that will be beautiful and meaningful to me, and maybe if I’m lucky, to someone else as well.
Not sure yet when I will post the first one, but keep your eyes peeled!
